Fruit South Africa (Fruit SA) is a non-profit company and an umbrella body for the South African fresh fruit industry. The industry comprises six associations: Berries ZA, the Citrus Growers' Association (CGA) of Southern Africa, Hortgro (representing pomefruit and stonefruit growers), the South African Table Grape Industry (SATI) and the South African Subtropical Growers' Association (Subtrop) that represents the avocado, lychee, and mango growers, and the Fresh Produce Exporters' Forum (FPEF). Registered as a business entity in 2013, Fruit SA strives for a competitive, equitable and sustainable South African fruit industry. It represents its members in providing advocacy, collaboration, coordination, and services relating to key industry matters.
